Disposal there is a decision backed by retention rules, not a side effect of a data sync. The connector files and updates, it does not tidy up.

Evidence where the file already lives
In many organizations the filing decision has long been made: the e-file is set, and nobody wants a second document repository next to it. The CMIS connector therefore links both sides rather than replacing either. Configured folder pairs are reconciled in both directions: documents from the e-file arrive in isidaten as evidence, isidaten evidence is filed in the e-file. CMIS is an open OASIS standard, so the integration works with any system that speaks it and is not tied to one vendor.

Changes stay distinguishable
Both sides remember the content state they last agreed on. If only one side differs, it is adopted. If both differ, it is a conflict and is reported as such instead of silently overwritten.
One broken document blocks nothing
An error on a single document does not end the run; otherwise one problem case would hold up all the others indefinitely.
Versioning is read correctly
In versioning repositories such as VIS-Suite the object ID changes with every version. The connector therefore tracks the version series, which stays stable, and does not lose a document on its next revision.
